Am I a dick?

I lost a bet to another guy in my office on the All Star game. I picked the NL and he picked the AL. He has been rubbing it in my face since I got in the office. I hate to lose bets and am kind of a degen. So I made the statement to him I will never lose a bet to him ever again. So he said ok, lets bet on this. So we decided to bet 50 dollars I would not lose a bet to him for the rest of 2007. I wrote it on a piece of paper and we both signed it. After the bet was taken he wanted to know what we were going to bet on first. I told him nothing, I am not betting with you on anything for the rest of the year. He got mad, called me a scumbag and said I made a shady bet and that now he doesn't want to pay me. Am I a dick or he is a dick?
