Default A Grim Reality, pt. 2: A Legacy of Grimming

before i go on with the story of our favorite antihero, i feel it is only proper to explain those who predate Grimstarr. after all, the best way to understand the mental makeup of any individual is to understand the family tree, the passing of genes that cause what we see before our very eyes today.

it is with that that i present the 2nd piece of our tale, "A Legacy of Grimming."

let us begin with prehistoric grimstarr. little is known about this caveman aside from the fact that he lived with dinosaurs, had children around roughly 17, and died tragically at the age of 19 when he tried to steal a pterodactyl's egg to feed his family.

ironically the one benevolent angleshoot in grimstarr history and it resulted in death.

fast forward to ancient rome.

emperor grim ruled a small city-state consisting of roughly 40 people. one day, underrolled yet feeling invincible, he challenged the roman emperor octavian to HU for empires.

he learned 2 valuable lessons:
1. you need at least 300 people to take on an empire

2. when you're facing a bunch of tigers who haven't eaten in a week and your face is covered in melted feta, you're pretty much [censored].

the more modern era grims haven't fared all too well either. take founding father grimstarr. it was a myth that aaron burr killed alexander hamilton, it was actually grim in what history would record as the first ever grimming.

hamilton and grim began their duel, but the very instant hamitlon turned to take his 10 steps...

...grimstarr shot him in the head, thus mortally wounding one of the fathers of american capitalism.

of course, as we've learned today, grimming is not without consequence.

finally we will take a look at the origin of grimstarr's gambling nature with his wild west ancestor, wyatt grim: a poker fan who got angry too quickly.

again, not without consequence...

this would last until the horse fell into a gorge, taking wyatt with it.
