Incredibly lame question regarding laptops on planes
I am flying out of town tomorrow, which I do like once per year. Not only do I not like flying, I don't usually have a reason to do it. This time I do.
Anyway, I like to watch DVDs on my laptop, but it requires the docking station, which is fairly bulky. The laptop itself isn't huge at all, it's a small HP laptop. The docking station would add about five inches to its depth.
The flight to Denver won't be long, but the flight to Illinois will be. On the way back, the flight from O'Hare to Phoenix is 3+ hours. I'd like to watch a movie or listen to music, but can any of you savvy travelers speak to whether it's worth my trouble to bring the docking station onto the plane to watch movies, i.e. have you done this? Guessing the depth from the back of my docking station to the front of my laptop at about 15 inches.
Probably wouldn't make this thread if there weren't a bunch of young internet punks ([img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]) who recently came and went from Vegas and had similar experiences. Don't fly out until yesterday afternoon so any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
