Default Re: Limit or NL on a limited live bankroll?

As others have said, with your very limited roll, odds are you will go broke.... HOWEVER, since you don't seem to be that worried about the risk, a loose NL game is going to be your best shot at getting a lucky start and making the most money.

Low stakes Limit Poker is too hard to beat. Takes a lot of luck since you will be playing 5-7 way pots a lot of the time. In a loose NL game where you buy-in for the Max (I don't agree with the short-buy theory in this situation), you should be able to survive long enough playing super tight aggressive to get someone (or multiple someones in these games) to pay you off in a big way.

You're still going to need a good run of cards to come out ahead, but if you're willing to play fearlessly and possibly lose your whole roll, this is the way to go IMO.
