Live 2/4 Hand. River play.
Table is very passive. Of the ten people at the table, usually 5 limpers pre-flop. Villain is a strange player. I'd just had a smoke with him, where we discussed strategy and what-not, seems like he loves to gamble. Tells me about how he loves to play 6/12 when he only buys for about 10 BB or so and hopes to get lucky. He's usually passive pre-flop, but I haven't seen him showdown any hands yet, so I'm never quite sure what he's holding.
I'm in the BB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Five limps before, and I check to see a free flop. Flop comes: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I check, MP 1 bets, everyone calls back to me, I raise, everyone calls, and we see a turn... Turn: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I lead out and bet. I get two callers here. Villian at MP1, and another passive calling station at MP2. River: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I lead out and bet. Villain Raises. MP2 folds. I look at him and ask him if he has Pocket 6's, and he just laughs and says call and see. I wince and call. Did I play this right? |
