video cards for a 30\"

So I need a video card with dual dvi capable of 2560x16000 resolution to run my 30" display. I'm not using the computer for anything but basic computing and poker.

My question: There seems to be a tremendous variation in the price of dual dvi video cards. Is there any reason not to get one of the cheaper ones for around $130 (XFX GeForce 8600 GT)?
