Two Hands Where I Get Out of Line
Sick reads or fancy play?
I have villain in this hand at 22/17/2, so definitely a little on the lag side, but I don't have any notes on him. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) MP ($77.05) Hero ($100) Button ($99.60) SB ($80.65) BB ($44.50) UTG ($55.30) Preflop: Hero is CO with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP calls $1, Hero raises to $5, Button calls $5, 1 fold, BB calls $4, MP folds. Flop: ($16.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, Hero bets $12, Button raises to $39, BB folds, Hero raises to $95 My reasoning here is that I'm 90% sure he doesn't have a 3, and I'm 99% sure he doesn't have JJ+. Basically I put him on a pair of jacks, probably less than top kicker, and think I can get him to fold to a shove. Villain in this hand is a 33/12/1.3 donk, so I have a pretty hard time assigning him a range. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG ($13) MP ($121.90) Hero ($102.20) Button ($186.90) SB ($182.50) BB ($98.50) Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises to $4, 1 fold, SB calls $3.50, 1 fold. Flop: ($9) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) SB checks, Hero bets $6, SB raises to $16, Hero calls $10. Turn: ($41) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets $25, Hero raises to $82.2 I think my flop play is standard, yes? On such an innocuous flop I think he's playing back at me much more often than he's hit anything. The questionable play is the turn shove, should I be semibluffing this type of player ever? |
