Am I Wrong
I'm playing in a 1/2NL game at the Mandalay Bay. Its pretty late on a Friday night and the game has been pretty loose and fun and I'm sitting on about $150 when this situation comes up..
It fold around to me and I raise from the CO to $12 with J10s and am called by a guy in the small blind. The flop comes down 3 4 9 rainbow and he checks to me. I C-bet $15 into the pot and he thinks for a couple seconds and announces that he's all-in. Well at this point I know I'm not continuing with the hand any further but am going to give it a moment of thought before I muck. But before I muck my cards and concede the pot the dealer continues to deal out the hand as if I had made the call and am all-in. Before I am able to say anything I see a 10 come off on the turn and 2 on the river and the dealer asks us to show our hands. At this point I am really confused about what to do in this situation and sheepishly flip over my J10 thinking I might just have the best hand and the SB sure enough shows AQ winning me the hand. The dealer then asks me for my chips to count and I quietly push them forward, avoiding eye contact with the SB. Now nowhere during this hand did I announce a call but at the same time nobody said anything, not even the SB. Not the biggest pot, but am I wrong in this spot or is it the dealer's error and SB who assumed I made the call because the dealer did. I know that had I not paired the board with the 10 I would have very well made an issue about the hand and gotten the floor involved. thoughts? |
