5/10 Live Awkward Spot
This is from a 5/10 NL game at the Rio. Villain is one of the more solid players at the table, which isn't saying terribly much. I've been playing what I'd consider a very TAG play, but because this is loose passive live poker, the table is regarding me as a little over-aggressive.
The very first hand of the game, Villain raised to $35 UTG, I made it $120 with KK, and he called. He check-called $200 on a rag flop and check-folded to a pot-sized all in on the turn. That's the only significant pot we've played together.
The hand in question:
Villain straddles $20 on the button, so I'm first to act from the SB. I raise to $70 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], and only Villain calls. Flop Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], I bet $120, and he calls. The turn is a blank, there's like $390 in the pot, and Villain has about $650 behind. Hero?
