You're absolutely correct about not needing the other callers.

I calculated how much money we needed to win if we hit and forgot about the money already in the pot. When we hit we only need to win an extra 3 bucks or so to break even. If he has a set he might slow down if a flush card hits but we can surely get much more than 3 dollars.

If the board pairs on the river we are in agony though! We should decide beforehand how much we are willing to call on the river if the board does pair and then deny him the implied odds he needs to call our turn bet (assume he has full house draw).
