I disagree with a lot of responses. A raise with that many players on that flop is ominous. Note that we have next to zero hands on villain, and especially lack any evidence that s/he plays draws like this. Most of the time villain has an 8 (nearly always with a better kicker) or a king. Since we want to lose the least to another 8 and keep villain in the hand with a king, hero should play more passively. I suggest calling the flop raise and check-calling most turns. On that particular turn I would check raise.

Preflop, flop, I play it the same.
