Default Live poker is unpossible to beat!

Lol, just kidding - though im on a bit of a downswing right now playing live.

Point of thread - had this super fun hand.

PL Holdem - i pot it early with AA, three callers and flop comes AK2 - i bet around £10 into a £40ish pot and entice one caller - turn comes the 4 and i fire bigger (half potish) - he calls and we see the 5 river, i value bet it because unless he has A3 im good right? He puts me all in (barely more than a min raise at this point), i call because unless he has A3 im good right?

I flip my top set.

He flips 33.

Nice hand sir.

Ironically, he was probably the best player at the table (results wise) - assuming he wasnt full of [censored], he won several big tourneys on Ladbrokes recently for about $40k in a the last month - he also claims to have his WSOP seat sewn up.

I dont doubt him tbh - dunno why.

So yeah, the sharks at my local call with 3rd pair on the flop, a gutter on the turn and obv hit the river cos poker doesnt reward the made hands.
