Good example - my wife and I take some other couples to a baseball game. In those scenarios I like to somewhat try to control who I have to sit next to for 9 innings. I think that's reasonable. When people sit wherever, I would never actually say anything, don't get me wrong. But I can see why people would come up with a seating order.
