I\'ve been talking about this hand for 2 days now (LC)
and I still can't get over it.
Venetian Deep Stack 1K, 100/200 blinds. Both people involved are fairly deep although I don't remember the exact amount. The second guy recently made a big call of an AI CR with 76 on a 975 board (it was good.) Anyway, UTG+1 sorta generic TAG opens to 600. The button calls, and it's either HU or 3 way to the flop. Probably HU. Flop A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. The TAG leads out the standard 2/3-ish pot (800?). The button makes it something like 2200. The TAG tanks for a full minute, stares the button down, and makes a smallish 3 bet to somewhere around 5K, probably around 40% of his stack. Button now stares the TAG down and tanks himself, then, after about a minute, makes a virtually minimum 4 bet putting around 2/3 of his stack in. The TAG blinks first and folds <font color="white"> QQ </font> face up. Button turns over... <font color="white">63 of diamonds. </font> Something about the Yeti theorem goes here? |
