Cake and Sportsbook News/Rant
Summary: Cake should quit the poker business until they fix their software. Sportsbook lost its processor again which just seems absolutely ridiculous to me.
Apparently Sportsbook has lost its ability to send transfers to banks again. I requested a transfer in March. I'm told they're having delays but I'm in the queue. Apparently my transfer comes up for the queue, then they need more identity verification, and I don't get that settled until the end of April. Transfer now being processed. It's taking forever. I e-mail to ask what's up, and get this response (by the way, it also takes me 2-3 e-mails over a period of a week and a half to get a response to any single question): Unfortunately, the bank wire processor were having major difficulties getting the funds out for customers on schedule. While they told us the funds were getting sent, it seems they did not get around to it. We're very sorry to report that over the weekend (June 2-3) we lost our International Bank Wire withdrawal option and, unfortunately, your withdrawal was one of the requests remaining in the queue. Ridiculous. One more complaint, is it too much to ask that the software that runs games where REAL MONEY IS AT STAKE not freeze and crash more than once every hour you play? I'm involved in a hand and half my tables freeze. The action on the table where I am in a big hand disappears, I can't see buttons, I can't see sizes, I can't see who is in the hand, I just hear the sounds that tell me it's my turn to click a button. Then the money you lose posting BBs and missing hands due to crashes adds up as well, maybe not a huge hourly, but it's at least more than what I would get if I put the money in an interest bearing account. |
