Some random draft tidbits:

Since it's inception in 1965, the MLB draft has seen 20 HOFers.

Here is where they were drafted by round.

First Round - 7
Second Round - 4
Third Round - 4
Fourth Round - 1
Seventh Round - 1
Round 12 - 1 (Nolan)
Round 20 - 1 (Sandberg)
Round 21 - 1 (Sutter)

Mike Piazza was drafted in the 62nd round, number 1,390th overall.

JD Drew was drafted three seperate times, 1994, 1997, 1998, thanks in part to the fiasco around him refusing to sign thanks to agent Scott Boras.

Agent Scott Boras was drafted once in the third round in 1975. He signed.

Mike Vick was selected in the 30th round by the Rockies in 2000.

Steve Mcnair in the 35th round by the Mariners in 1991.

Danny Ainge was selected in the 15th round in 1977 by Toronto. He signed and made it to the big show before giving it up for the hardcourt.

Barry Bonds was drafted 25 years ago this month (Jun 1982), by the SF Giants.
