I'm not sure how this forum software works but I'm pretty sure that on some other forums, once you've been emailed that there's a new post, it won't email you again about other new posts until after you've viewed the thread. IE if two people post in immediate succession, you only get one email. If the first was a ninja-bumper, you would never see their post, and assume the second bumped the thread.

Again, I'm not sure if that's how this software works, but it's something to keep in mind.
