Feeling a little bored today I decide to see what these single-table tournaments are and proceed to play a bunch of micros...
The LOLest hand: First hand of the tournament. I open on the button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Dude in the blinds calls. Flop: [ K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] x[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ] We get all in on the flop. Dude shows K3 offsuit "Great! Nut flush, against top pair, zero kicker. I'm going to get a big chip lead early and run over the table!" Turn : [ 6 ] River: [ 6 ] LOL --- Some preflop "races": AQ < AT AT < A3 AK < K6 --- I bought in by accident in a PLO SnG *TWICE* . "WTF so many cards. What to do. I haven't a clue!" First time I bust out quite early. Second time I decide the best course of action is to bet and raise the pot like a maniac at every opportunity. I finished 3rd ... LOL. --- Back to NL, I pushed and ran into AA preflop THREE TIMES. No luck each time. Feel like getting medieval on all those whiners who say that Aces always get cracked. --- Variance: with all this gaiety I'm still up $20 for the day in SnGs, counting the two PLOLAMENTS.
