Angel really starts to crank out amazing seasons following season 3. And the season finale was very good given it was a rush job...they werent told their would be canceled till the middle of the last season.

Make sure u watch all of the Buffy seasons prior to watching the final season of Angel!!! The series finale of Buffy plays a huge role in Angel's last season.
