Re: (78) Call Huge river overbet?
[ QUOTE ]
Whoa there tiger...90-120 on the flop into a pot of 40? The six didn't exactly "scare" me, but it's a good card for him to bluff, which my intention was to check/call the turn, and then check/call river, but he made that ridiculous bet on the river I wondered if I should follow through with my intended line. [/ QUOTE ] KJs shouldn't have an intended line IMHO. Either you hit the flop or your don't. We hit the flop with TPGK and should bet for value/information on the flop. If he had called say... 90 on the flop, then we can assume he has a reasonable K or a PP. Any hand calls 30...... I'm completely lost after that. Check/Call on the turn baffles me as he could be betting 80 with any K, A2 or 6x. Our check on the river allows BB to overbet (stinks of a steal), but we haven't done enough to gain a good read up to here. Could be 77, A6, 22, K6, K7, AA, A7..... So. Overbet the flop and win the hand there, or face an overbet on the river and be forced into a tough decision? Just a thought. Slacka |
