CAZ making real effort to enforce rules & improve etiquette
Recently I complained loudly about what I considered Casino Arizona's lackadaisical approach (non-approach, actually) to enforcing many rules, especially those relating to game integrity. Thru the intervention of a fellow 2p2er the thread was shown to the manager in charge of dealer meetings and she felt that I made some good points and I am told that after reading the thread she printed my post and handed it out at the next dealer meeting. I've been asked if I am so and so by a few dealers and was a bit *worried* about how they'd react but there's been nothing but positive feedback so far.
I want to take this opportunity to tell anyone interested that there has been a remarkable change in rules and etiquette enforcement in the past week. Last night was my first night playing in over a week and I was amazed at what was going on. In the first 3 downs alone the dealers were telling players repeatedly to speak English during the play of the hand, not to flash cards and that there was to be ONE player to a hand and not to talk about the hand in progress. One player (a nice guy) showed his hand to his neighbor who starts to say something and the dealer tells them 'One player to a hand.' The fellow says 'Really? Nobody's told me that in 2 years.' I'm very impressed. I spoke again to the manager and she told me that CAZ is going to stay on top of the situation and I thanked and congratulated her. I'm sure they mean it and I thank and encourage them and thank 2p2 itself as well because I think the participants in the thread were a great help as well. |
