Default Re: Good book to read in jail?

[ QUOTE ]
Don't call anyone a goof or a rat ... if you do just start swinging because it will be on
If you do get your ass kicked and a guard asks what happened ... you fell in the shower
Don't whistle
Don't even touch anything that isn't yours
Don't gamble if you can't pay immediately
Keep your head up
Exercise
Eat everything you get even if it looks like [censored]
Do your own time not anyone elses ... and generally, if you respect others it will be reciprocated
Keep a journal

Don't take anything ... unlikely you can take it in with you anyways. They will have a library.

Good luck

[/ QUOTE ]

coming from a guy who finished doing 3 months (me) in january, i'd say you listen to every point made above. County jail isn't the penitentry tho, so dont listen to all that dont drop the soap [censored]. That barely even exists in penitentrys anymore, much less county/city jails.
