I'm on the button with 99 with $200. Fold, fold, call, cut-off raises to 25. I call. 2 other callers.

Flop comes 9TJ rainbow.

BB checks, next guy pushes for like $150. I was calling this easily. But then, the pre-flop raiser calls.

I had just lost a buy-in a couple hands before and was just really fearing drawing to 1 out I guess. I fold after thinking for half a minute.

AM I RETARDED? THIS IS SHORTSTACKED 2-5 LIVE! EVEN IF SOMEONE HAS A STRAIGHT I GOT ODDS. FURTHERMORE, SOME OF THESE PLAYERS LIMP UTG WITH J-5 OFF SUIT!!!

Was up against KJ and AA.

I didn't even feel THAT bad after the hand. When I really realized what a terrible fold it was was later that night when I was stoned. It was a huge buzz-kill lol because I just felt really stupid about it (I told the whole table what I folded).

It was only my third time playing live in anything other than home games.

I guess I was just in online 1/2 mode. A $150 bet and a call? I must be up against KQ and JJ!!!
