Default folding the set

i had 77 in on the button
and the guy in UTG raised 10 dollars and 4 players called.
when flop came, every body checked to the Cut off bet out 10$ to the board of 467.
I make it 40 and he raise 50 more. I call and there is approximately 200 in the pot. At this point i was semi certain he has straight, since he's very capable of plying 35 and he usually dont bet or raise big without big hand. (he's the type of player who bet big when he has huge hand and bet small when he has small hand and he respects my play since i've show down only big hands) He bets out 100 on the turn. now the pot contains 300 and i shove in my last 180 and lose to straight. So i was on a draw to full house or four of a kind on the turn with 5.7 to 1 odd of improving and i was getting 3:1 pot odd and 4.8 :1 implied odd. pot odds are telling me to fold here. But it is pretty hard to fold set on that board. im curious how other people would have played this hand. any comments and thoughts would be very appreciated. was folding the right play here?
