25/50 at bellagio AA on good board but really deep
i usually hate posting live hands because they are always so read based, whereas online hands are generally math based but i figured id give it a go today.
bellagio 25/50nl 9 handed. villain starts the hand with 15k, i cover. im new to this table so i dont really have any strong reads. the guy on my left is a younger kid who looks like he can handle himself and the villain in the hand is a stereotypical fish. an older, strange looking guy who ive never seen before who seems a little cooky. i raise UTG to 200 with AA, UTG+1 calls, CO calls, blinds fold. flop is J75r i bet 600, UTG+1 calls, CO calls. turn is another offsuit 5 ($2475) i check, UTG+1 checks, CO bets $3000 when the CO bet $3000, he immediately looked down at his chips and then looked right back up to avoid detection which generally tells me that he cant wait to get the chips in the middle. then though, he leaned back in his chair and interlaced his fingers which is generally a sign of weakness. i took a while to make my decision and he didnt seem to give off any other signs of weakness other than this. he actually seemed pretty confident in his chair. when i checked the turn i was hoping to get someone to bite and bet out, but when a guy overbets the pot and is playing really deep its really scary. ive played live nl mostly on the east coast and when they bet huge like this its usually a made hand, is it different on the west coast? if i call the turn bet do i call an 8k+ bet on the river? |
