live 6/12, AQo MP
Hero has A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], two early position limpers, Hero raises, folded around to BB, who calls. UTG+1 calls, MP limper 3-bets.
I've seen the 3-bettor play these hands: Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], limps in early position, MP pregnant woman raises, 5 to the flop. One of the blinds bets at 655 flop with two clubs, he calls, she raises, both call. Both check-call her on a turn that brings a second diamond but is otherwise a blank, perhaps a 2. She bets a river blank, like a non-flush completing 8, he check-raises, she calls, with 66 by the way, he shows down anyway. A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], limps in middle position, 5 players to the flop. Flop is T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and is checked around. He bets out a turn 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], and the same woman calls. The river pairs the ten, and it goes bet-call again. Maybe he's playing over my head, but I think he's kind of bad. I cap pre-flop with this in mind, I guess because I don't give him credit for a hand and to try not to give away too much about my hand. Thoughts? Maybe I'm spewing here. The flop is K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. It's checked to me, and I bet. BB calls, MP check-raises, Hero folds in a roughly 19 SB pot. C'mon, let me have it and tell me which of my decisions is the worst here. Capping pre-flop, betting the flop, or folding the flop? |
