Default Alternative Payment Methods.....

Well seems this forum came to agree that any speculation about online poker after the regulations are released is just that, speculation.

But I feel it would be wise to discuss alternative payment methods.

Once the regulations are in place western union, e-wallets, bank wire transfers, bank drafts, and any other forms of electronic payments will become more difficult.

But what about money orders, cashier checks, personal checks, money orders, and gift credit cards? Interested in any observation, insight or opinions.

Do we all agree that online poker is a big enough market that online poker rooms will continue to offer poker to US residents?

And what about the more distant future of online poker? One year or two years from now? Will the status quo remain? Or will the UIGEA continue to erode online poker?

Those of you making a living from online poker, do you feel confident you will be able to continue make a living from online poker or are you job hunting?

Lastly, Does anyone have any knowledge on opening up a foreign bank account?
-Do you need a passport?
-What is the min. deposit?
-Is there a credit check? etc.....

THANKS!
