There's already a lot in the pot, and whatever you bet, you want to make sure that he think you are committed. Make it to 13K. Pushing is fine too, because the money he has put in gives you nice odds even if shorty has xx <=QQ.

Raising to 8K is bad because ensures he will call, you will be giving him tremendous odds. at 13K, you get most of the FE you want. It's still very dangerous - I like a push better.
