Default I take worse beats than any of you.

this isn't an emotional "I TAKE THE WORST BEATS!!!11" thread. it just occurred to me that, assuming the same skill level, a player's going to take more bad beats at the lower levels than at the higher because the bad players stay in more. you don't see a non-shortstack 86o calling off all his chips to your pocket rockets much at the upper levels i'm sure. at the lower levels, it happens all the time. and those 86o can catch and do. as do the 53's and the j2's.

good players at low levels can expect to get bad beat more than most everyone else. i'll have to keep this in mind when villains runner-runner flush or runner-runner straight me for the 5th time in 5 games. not a good thing to know in and of itself. :\ but it's good thing to know that as i build my bankroll and move up in level, i'll be getting bad beat less than i currently am. i know that will hurt my roi as i move up, since opponents' bad plays are where good players make their money in the long run, but it will help my sanity.
