Default Gun Range Trip Report w/ pix

So i roll up with my buddy who just spent 4 years in the Army and now is in the National Guard. He figures if he has to go overseas he wants to be a good shot...

I try to cut the man-tension in the lobby by small banter..."Here WWII vet is your $11, which way to the paper targets? And i like the picture of the World Trade Center that you wrote, "this is why" in crayon underneath." He doesn't laugh, i suspect we got off to a bad note. I mention his dog (read as little fluff ball) was cute, he smirked. I won that round!

I enjoy shooting skeet/trap with 12 guages, but really haven't explored the handgun range....

22 Rifle with Silencer/Scope. I was able to shoot 1.5 inch cluster from 45 feet. Sounded like an air rifle.

22 Smith and Weston. Fun little guy with not too much kick and pretty easy to shoot one handed.

...one of the guys with an empty in his mini-fro

Replica "Peace Maker" single action. Like buffalo bill style where you have to bring the hammer back each time. Lost of fun at 10 ft....

Didn't take pictures of the .38 snub nose little bastard that even with a laser i couldn't get accurate at all!

Also did the obligatory 9mm Beretta which i may pick up and get the 22 conversion to save money while at the range.

All in all a fun evening at the range.
