Home Game Hand vs. 2+2er
This is a $5 buy in home game tournament, though the money is immaterial, really- we are playing for pride. We all get one re-buy (for t4,000) if we so choose, and neither villain nor I have used ours yet.
Villain in this hand is a fellow 2+2er who has won the 4/180 challenge and we are far and away the best two players at the table. He is clearly capable of raising with air to steal blinds. He is also playing seriously and well- he's not just donking around. Blinds 30/60 Stacks Villain (SB) t4,000 Hero (BB) t3,500 Hero's Cards: T8o Villain looks at his cards (after everyone folds), breaks into a smile, laughs, and raises to 180. Hero calls. Pot=360 Flop=9TJr Villain bets 200. Hero raises to 600. Vallain calls 400. Pot = 1560 Turn = 9TJ8r Villain checks. Hero checks. Pot = 1560 Turn = 9TJ8K Villain pushes all in. Hero Folds. |
