I knew the answer, but in an odd way. I didn't experience remembering "Alexander Hamilton" in the same way I usually remember something. There was just this empty few seconds where I blankly pondered early US history, and then a little voice echoed in my head with the answer. I have no idea why I knew or when I learned the fact.
