When I was 20, went downtown with my mom/stepdad/uncle/family friend. We start drinking at this bar, bunch of younger people hanging out drinkin, place is packed. My mom and I hit up the dart board while all the pool tables were taken.

We're playing 501, and while I'm lining up to take the winning shot, my mom thinks it's a good idea to start swinging her jacket in front of the dart board. Drunken and competitive, I say F that I'm making this shot.

I throw, the sleeve catches the dart and launches the thing in a perfect arc across bar. I lose the dart midair, and the next thing I know it's sticking straight up in some girl's dome.

She says, and I quote, "Are you FU**ING KIDDING ME?? There's a FU**ING DART IN MY HEAD!!"

Funniest thing that I've heard in a bar in a while.

Unfortunately she was with a bunch of big dudes, but I ended up not getting beat up. I also coulda got kicked out and/or picked up by cops for underage drinking if something gnarly got outta hand. But I won in the end.

Brag: Stuck a girl in the head with a dart unintentionally
Beat: She was with a group of big guys, so I could've gotten beat up
Variance: Woulda been funny to get smashed to a pulp thanks to my mom
