Default NL25 - Flopped FH OOP. How to extract the most?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

UTG ($13.90)
<font color="#C00000">Hero ($27)</font>
MP1 ($9.65)
MP2 ($19.60)
MP3 ($14.25)
<font color="#C00000">CO ($33.75)</font>
Button ($3.80)
SB ($14.25)
BB ($22.55)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, CO calls $0.25, Button calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.10) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $0.75</font>, CO calls $0.75, Button folds, BB folds.

I bet to see who wants in. Cutoff calls, so I put him on an 8, two overs (maybe big pair?), or a flush draw. Players are bad enough, so I think that this is a reasonable assessment.

Turn: ($2.60) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, CO checks.

I'm looking for the check raise here. Is that silly? Should I have just played it straight forward?

River: ($2.60) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

A blank. Now what? How can I extract the most from this guy when I'm out of position?
