How do you evaluate smartness, knowledge, wiseness.

I feel ppl believe certain things make you "smart" while others don't. My friend goes to Berkeley, and after 1 year, he thinks he is a genious.

I go to SJSU, (pretty [censored] school) and feel that I am "wiser" than him. I have more collective knowledge over many different topics.

He can do math, memorize, and spell. I can't. Yet I feel I am not dumber than him. I guess we are both good at different things, however the things I am good at are not as accepted by the public.
