I failed to get away from sets when I was beat like 5 times the first few hours of my session. Slowplaying 66 on a 'safe' 652r board against a PFR, then getting stacked on a 3 turn (he had 44); getting all in on a monotone board; set under set twice, KK vs JT on AKQ board, etc. So I guess I'm on weak-tight tilt when this happens:
Full Tilt Poker No Limit Hold'em Cash Game $3/$6 Blinds 6 Players Seat 1: Whose House ($552) Seat 2: THE GENIUS 115 ($1,068.65) Seat 3: Op_Dinner_Out ($1,021.50) Seat 4: d4ncingfish ($968), is sitting out Seat 5: ezyeeyore_ ($585) Seat 6: FristSux ($1,446.35) Lego Poker Hand Converter Preflop: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($9, 5 Players) Whose House folds, THE GENIUS 115 raises to $18, Op_Dinner_Out folds, ezyeeyore_ calls $15, Hero calls $12 Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($54, 3 Players) ezyeeyore_ bets $40, Hero raises to $133, THE GENIUS 115 calls $133, ezyeeyore_ calls $93 Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($453, 3 Players) ezyeeyore_ checks, Hero checks, THE GENIUS 115 bets $453, ezyeeyore_ calls all-in for $434 At this point, I am 100% completely convinced The GENIUS has AA or KQ. Or maybe ezy has KQ. But I'm almost getting odds to fill up. ... Hero calls $453 River: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($1793, 3 Players - 1 All-In) Hero checks, THE GENIUS 115 bets all-in for $464.65, Hero curses the fact that the board never pairs and folds, getting 4.8 to 1 Uncalled bet of $464.65 returned to THE GENIUS 115 THE GENIUS 115 had T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Tens) and won (+$1186) ezyeeyore_ had 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and lost (-$585) What's so frustrating, besides my the fact that I am awful, is if anything happens differently in this hand, I triple up. If the turn is anything other than the ace, I get all in. If either one of my opponents had decided not to slow-play and had re-raised the flop, I get all-in. If I had lead turn strong (like I should have) instead of check-calling, then I'm priced in and forced to call when THE GENIUS shoves, and I win. Like, everything had to align perfectly, horribly wrong. I really needed that 2100 too, my PT numbers are extremely red tonight. (I'm sure someone will say, "Not surprising, since you are awful.") |
