I had just sat down at this 3/6 table and was posting in late middle position.
I had 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Two early limpers, I raise, guy next to me calls, some folds, BB calls, early players call. Flop: 5 players, 10SB, T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] By my calculations I think somebody was dealt a T about 62% of the time, but unlike an A or K, not all T’s will play, so there may be a 50% chance no one left has a T. I usually try to find out on the flop. Checked to me, I bet, guy next to me calls, everyone else folds. Does the guy next to me have the T? Or some other pocket pair? Turn: 2 players, 6BB, [T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Unless the guy next to me has T9, T7 or TT I’m now ahead. I bet, he raises, I 3 bet, he caps. I’m convinced he has a T, but has he fill up? River: 2 players, 14BB, [10[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] That river card looks harmless. The guy next to me already has two stacks of chips of chips in front of him ready to raise me. He is acting fishy, like he is trying to get me to check. I take that as a sign of weakness and decide to donk him. I bet, he raises, I call. Did I overplay my hand here? Should I have 3 bet the river? |
