Movies that you love but got terrible reviews

With the release of the new Ninja Turtles movie, I was reminded of the live action movies from the early 90s. I loved those movies but I haven't watched them in ages. Obviously I didn't have a very sophisticated taste in movies since I was very young so I was curious to see if others liked them as much as I did. From Rotten Tomatoes:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Movie (1990) -- 35%
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 - The Secret of the Ooze (1991) -- 20%
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993) -- 29%

I suspect that many of my childhood favorites are the same way. What movies do you love despite negative critical reviews?
