Default The more you give, the more you get.

This is a question for those who has won some money from tournaments.

How much do you give to your friends and the house after winning a tournament?

For me, till now, I always give 3% as tip to the house/casino staff. 5% to my friends who sweated me. I believe the more I give, the more I'll get.

Here is an interesting story:
On Wednesday, after bubbling out twice at the Bike, I decided not to play the $1580 event and sold $1000 tournament chips to a friend at the Bike's registration desk. Just when I was about to leave, one of my friends came over and said this to me "Shan, you should play today, you are going to win this one. You didn't lose the other two tournaments, you bubbled out. That's different. I give this lucky xxxx to you for a good luck. Don't give up!" He gave me a pretty green leaf keychain with "BC" (Bicycle Casino) on it. I was moved by someone who trusts me so much. I registered the event and actually won it. Yes, this friend along with many others were with me till the very end. They make me feel strong and confident at difficult time when I had low stack.

Someone says 8% is too much, I don't agree. Without the friends and the house, there is no 92%.

In Chinese, we say "Running over the lakes and rivers (Jiang Hu, which means to survive in the real world), you need true friends." This is so true in poker.
