Lent money to a friend (serious bizz.)

Last year (about Christmas of 05) I lent a buddy of mine 600 dollars for bills and living expenses cause he just got canned from his last job. It was a seasonal job so i was cool about it. We made a verbal agreement that he would pay me 40 every two weeks until the debt was paid off.

The POS moved and he only paid me about 80 bucks. Every time I call him, he gives me the same "there's nothing I can do" line and then starts acting tough.

A fishin buddy of mine offered to hospitalize him for 100 bucks. I was thinking about stealing his tires and when he gets new ones, steal those too. I can sell them at a flea market on the south side of chicago for some decent cash until I get my money.

Those familiar with the Chicagoland area, I live on the north side, but linoclnwood, skokie, niles, and evanston. He lives in evanston now and the cops there are asswipes. So I don't want to do anything that will give me a jail sentence.

Any ideas floating around in the BBV4LIFE community....
