Online gambling illegal in Nevada?

I was considering moving to Las Vegas or the Henderson area but I saw somewhere that online gambling is illegal in Nevada. Any online professionals here who live in Nevada? If so, what are the risks?

Basically, I'm trying to find somewhere to move. Where would the most ideal place be in the US for an online pro?
Is there an ideal place to save on tax? (No city tax for instance.)

I would really appreciate any advice you guys may have.
