Cute little situation
Game: 2/5 NL B&M, 8-handed
Setup: It's about DST changeover time, and the red eyes remaining are focused on the Button, a near-maniac with at least $2000 in front of him. I have about $800 and all other involved players have $250-400 and are fairly tight. Image: In the last 20-30 minutes I've opened up my game as we're occasionally 7- or even 6-handed when people take a smoke or bio break. I recently showed down a J8o from the button that caught an open-ender and sucked out with a J on the river. Only 2 hands ago, a TAG-ish regular commented regarding whatever trash I won with: "Geez, what are you on today? You're usually Mr. Tight over there." The hand: UTG straddles for 10, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Button (maniac) calls, BB (me) raises to 50 with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Straddler and all limpers call. Flop ($250): K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I am first to act... |
