Default Re: Avoid Alienware (semi-OT)

For playing poker you certainly don't need anything to fancy.

I play on my Toshiba Satalite M30 (I had it for a while now) and it is great. Has a nice big screen and a monitor port on the back (I plug a 19' into the laptop for multitable play) and is light, like 6lbs. Toshiba has always seemed to be a great laptop maker.

The only downside is it is a centrino machine, designed to save battery life. Thing lasts 4 hours when doing my work, but it is awful for games (other than poker). If you aren't playing games then I highly recommend it.
