[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] and didn't feel like alienating the player who was still at the table [/ QUOTE ] Heaven forbid one of your "fish" should get upset because he wasn't allowed to keep a pot that wasn't his. Attitude like this sickens me. [/ QUOTE ] Like I said, I am not very experienced at B&M (and was even less experienced at the time). The guy that won was not "one of my fish", IIRC he was one of the better players at the table - the "fish" was obviously the drunk guy. I am a recreational player, and shy away from confrontations. I don't insist I am right at the table, unless I know for certain that I am, and usually assume the dealer knows better than I do on questions I am uncertain of. The point of posting this was so I would know for certain if it ever came up again. Your attitude is decidedly unfriendly. Sorry I don't have encyclopedic knowledge of all the rules, and am not as assertive at the table as perhaps I should be. I am trying to learn the finer points. Perhaps you could work on being a little more tolerant with people who don't know the rules as well as you. |
