are you guys serious? it doesn't have to be a right triangle. [/ QUOTE ] The area formula applies regardless. And you can construct a rectangle that will be twice the area of the triangle. But to do it such that the rectangle is comprised of two triangles instead of three does require that the triangle be right. This is what the argument was about. |
