Default Graphics: Anyone got knowledge about GeForce 7600 GS?

I'm looking for a graphics card with which I can bridge the gap between now and getting a DX 10 card some time next year.

Currently, my desktop has a measly on-board GeForce 6100 (supposedly 256MB), but I'm not too confident in it's capabilities.

So, I thought a GeForce 7600 GS would be good enough to get by. If I'm not too happy with the performance, I should be able to get another 10-20% performance boost by overclocking it.
Also, and that's the most important part, I want to have a new card to be able to use a 2 monitors setup.

Considering that I'm only using 19" TFTs I doubt I'd need more GPU power since the max resolution ain't that high - but I'm not sure...

Any experts got any thoughts on this? Any obvious pitfalls I'm missing?

Edit: And, yeah, I'm planning on gaming on the machine, too. Nothing hard core bleeding cutting-edge but fairly up to date stuff.
