Default Baton Rouge report

Played at the Belle of Baton Rouge Monday night.

They have 2 2/5 NL tables and one 4/8 limit table. Got on the 4/8 list at 9pm and didn't sit down until after midnight. The 2/5 list was just as long but moved a lot faster.

By 3am they were down to one full 2/5 table and the 4/8 table was 8-handed.

The play was just as loose as I'd expect, but exceptionally passive. The only time anyone reraised before the flop was with a high PP, and in 4 hours the betting was only capped preflop one time!

No smoking at the poker tables, but the rest of the casino is extremely smokey. I spent 3 hours playing various table games, often wedged between two smokers - not fun.

Talking to some locals, this is the only (legal) poker game in town. Talking to the dealers, they might be opening another table soon.
