I'm looking forward to getting the book, but I have a question. I think everyone deep inside would like to know how to beat really tough games, but it begs the question. Why would anyone play in tough games to begin with? I can think of some valid answers but I'd like know to hear your answer.

Knowing how to beat tough games does not imply we think you should play in them when there are alternatives.

One could also make the arguement that learning the skills to beat tough games might increase your winrate in easier games.
