[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] If he has a set, you'll know on the flop or turn action by reraising the flop. [/ QUOTE ] this is bad imo. raising the flop is unnecessary. def shove the turn and i wouldn't be surprised to see AK or AA here [/ QUOTE ] Why is raising the flop so bad here? KJ, that hands looks better than it actually is (rookie hand). Dump the hand on the flop if it's no good before you get into more trouble. Are you trying to say slow play this hand? LOL [/ QUOTE ] We aren't "slowplaying" the hand. 1. Raising gets all worse hands to fold, and gets calls by better hands. 2. We are getting to see the turn card without inflating the pot unneccessarily with a marginal hand. 3. We have a chance to reevaluate what we are going to do with the rest of the hand in terms of whether or not the opponent is gonna fire more money at this pot or check it, and whether or not we can get a card on the turn that will improve our hand. -------------> all signs point to flop call. Reevaluate on turn. As played, I shove the turn. |
