Default Washington State Pending Legislation - Online Poker

I sent this info to the PPA yesterday. I received an email from State Senator Derek Kilmer, who responded to my email sent via the PPA website regarding online poker.

House Bill # 1243 would provide for an, "Affirmative Defense to unlawful internet gambling if the defendant comitted the offense in his or her primary residence."

In short it's pending legislation that would make it ok to play online poker from home in Washington State. I recommend all Washington State residents utilize the emailing feature on the PPA website to write the Governor and Legislators and urge their support of this bill. The PPA software will send it to each of your Representatives, properly addressed and formatted. Thanks!
